The Dedham Country & Polo Club is a unique monument to the greatest classic golf course architects of all time. Seth Raynor and Donald Ross have the design credit for 23 of Golf Magazine’s top 100. Ross designed Dedham’s 9-hole course in 1915. A decade later Raynor re-imagined his fellow genius’ original work and, with his own, deft strokes, produced an 18-hole masterpiece, the only Raynor design in Massachusetts. The replica holes Raynor designed draw on the strategic principles of famed golf holes such as the Redan, Alps, Punchbowl, Eden, Short, and Biarritz, among others.
