Mount Edgecombe The Woods

Mount Edgecombe Country Club has two 18-hole championship courses, and the older The Woods was first upgraded about 30 years ago when the Mount Edgecombe residential estate was initially developed. Originally known as the Huletts Country Club, and created by Sid Brews in 1936, the course was upgraded and modernised in 1992 by Hugh Baiocchi, and most recently by Matkovich Turf Management in 2023. The Woods is a parkland layout, and this extremely attractive golf course has hosted European and Sunshine Tour events as well as the South African Amateur Champiosnhips
