Miyazaki, Japan
18 holes
Facing the Hyuga Nada, the Pacific Ocean that lies off the eastern shore of the island of Kyushu, and separated by black pine forests, a 27 hole course consists of three courses, Takachiho, Sumiyoshi, and Nichinan. In addition to the deep green side bunkers, the course is also exposed to the characteristic ocean breezes and pine trees that serve as aerial hazards. The course is also rich in strategic features such as Western grasses, rare in Japan, making it a course that Japan can be proud of.
